No business is free

No business is free

A man established a zoo and made the entrance fee of $70 but no one went there.
He reduced it to $50 but still no one came.
He then reduced the fee to $15 but still people didn't come.
Finally, he made it FREE entrance and soon, the zoo was filled with people.
Then he quietly locked the gate of the zoo, set the lions free and made the exit fee of $200 and everyone paid!
✔️MORAL LESSON: As you go about in life, beware of free offers, they can be terrible. No business is free!

An advice of a father to his son

One day a son came to his father for an advice. "Dad, I can’t do it,"  he said. "Those practices only exhaust me, and the result doesn’t change. It must be not destined for me to play football and my dream will never come true."

The father looked at his son, then said, "It's not time to make a change, just relax, take it easy.  You're still young, that's your fault.  There's so much you have to know."

His son was about to sing along when he stopped and said, "Joke."

Then the father became serious and said, " You know son, every person in life has a dream, a goal, a wish. They are the ones who make us do what we are doing, because it’s what we should do. We have to fight for what we believe in, what we feel. In other case, you will simply brake. Once - and for all. As thought you were never there.

The easiest way is to quit everything and not go until the end, because the path is difficult and we are not used to inconveniences. We want everything to be easy and at once. But the wishes are fleeting! This is how our dream dies, and the goal becomes unreachable. Gradually, life becomes a routine without depth and meaning. Then one day, we try to forget and start everything from the beginning, we wait for a new day to make our life different. But new obstacles come in our way, and we stop again. We become full of despair and anger for our own impotence… But you only need to remember one thing: never give up, fight, battle. It doesn’t matter that you have lost one battle and even dozens of battles. Life goes on!

Your biggest enemies are hiding in you – laziness, fear, doubt, indecision. Be a warrior of your dream, a knight of your goal and a soldier of your wishes."

Take A Yoga Break At Your Desk

If you are really that type of person who sits down or in the office for 8 hours or more a day, this simple yoga trick is good for you!

Just breathe. The breath is a very powerful tool in yoga. “By using a relaxed breath that is slow
and deep we begin to release tension.

Try sitting quietly in your chair, eyes closed, and observe your breath for a few minutes. Is it shallow? Fast or slow?

Concentrate on slowing your breathing down comfortably without forcing it.

Once this breath is mastered it can be used any time or place to relax.

Palming. Eyes tired and strained?

Sitting at your desk, rub the palms of your hands together in a circular motion (you’ll feel your hands become warm) as you inhale.

Elbows resting comfortably on your desk, lean forward, covering your eyes with your palms and slowly exhale.

Visualize any tension in your face melting or floating away. Repeat several times.

Head Movements. To relax your face, neck and shoulders.

Sit in a chair or stand, comfortably relaxed.

Inhale slowly. Exhale as you allow your head to slowly and comfortably move forward, coordinated with the breath.

Inhale slowly as you raise your head.

Exhale and slowly turn your head to one side, without straining.

Inhale and move your head back to center.

Repeat to the other side.

Exhale lowering your head toward your chest

Inhale slowly and raise your head again. Repeat many times.

Forward bend. To stretch out your body try any variation of a forward bend.

First remove your shoes and stand by your desk with feet about shoulder’s width apart. Inhaling slowly, raise your arms overhead, coordinating the movement of your arms with your breath.

Pause. Exhale and slowly bend forward from the waist. If you are very flexible, bend toward the floor (keep knees bent slightly and do not strain or force yourself forward).

Place your hands on your thighs, knees or the floor -- whatever is comfortable for you.

Pause. Inhale as you slowly straighten your body, raising your arms overhead.

Pause, exhale and lower arms to your side. Repeat several times. If you are not very flexible, simply bend over toward the top of your desk instead of the floor.

Who says learning Cebuano language is difficult?

Who says learning Cebuano language is difficult?

Cebuano language is spoken by people living in Cebu, in bigger sense it is also called Bisaya language which is spoken not only by Cebuanos but by people in Visayas region of the Philippines. This includes neighboring provinces of Cebu and Mindanao. Bisaya become second most popular and spoken language in the Philippines next to Tagalog or Filipino language.

So, who said learning Bisaya is difficult?

Well it's easy, in fact, you can easily adopt it even by listening to the bisaya people conversing each other. All you have to do is ask for certain meaning then the next time you hear it, you can recall in a snap what that word means. I have a french friend went to Cebu and he always noticed a word "sige" or sige-sige, out of curiosity, he ask what that word means, we've answered, it means, "yes" or "let's go" or "okay". The next time, we already hear him saying, "sige-sige"! Isn't that fun? Isn't that amazing?

We also recommend to learn common phrases you can use anywhere, samples are below:

1.  Thank you   Salamat
2.  Thanks a lot   Salamat kaayo
3.  You’re welcome. Way sapayan.
4.  Excuse me.    Tabi.
5.  I’m sorry/Forgive me Pasaylo ako.
6.  I didn’t mean to do it. Wala nako tuyo-a.
7.  Please don’t be offended.     Ayaw ug kasuko.
8.  May I pass?     Agi sa ko.
9.  I don’t understand. Wa ko kasabot.
10. I don’t know.     Ambot, wa ko kahibaw
11.  Just a minute./One moment, please. Kadiyot/Kadali lang.
12.  Please speak slowly.      Palihog hinaya pagsulti.
13.  Please repeat.     Usba palihog.

Phrases really helps and it works. That works for us learning foreign languages too.

Alright? Sige-sige!

Drinking Coffee: The after effect

If you're like me who started a morning with coffee.. here's an after effect. If you drink coffee to get rid from sleepiness, we'll.. it won't affect fast.. not after some few more minutes or hours after.

Here's a dramatic changes that happened to your body after drinking coffee:

10 Minutes:

The coffeine enter your bloodstream.
Your heart rate and blood pressure start to rise.

20 Minutes:

You start to feel more alert and focused.
You find it easier to make informed decisions and handle problems.
In addition, the caffeine can help you feel less tired by connecting to your brain's adenosine receptors.

30 Minutes:

Your body starts to produce more adrenaline.
This can lead to sharper vision because your pupils dilate slightly.

40 Minutes:

The level of serotonin in your blood begins to rise.
This improves the functioning of the motor neurons which in their turn, increase muscle strength.

4 Hours:

Coffee can increase the rate at which your cells release energy. When this happens, your body starts to break down fats, even if you don't move.
Caffeine also stimulates the increases the production of stomach acids.

6 Hours:

The caffeine in coffee cause a diuretic effect.
Apart from water, your body also loses some essential vitamins and minerals. This can lead to slight disorders of calcium metabolism.

So, if you wonder why you're still sleepy after drinking coffee, wait until past 30 minutes!

The Pending Coffee Story

(Roughly Translated Version)

We were in small coffee shop.
Two customers arrived.

"5 coffees, 2 for us 3 pending"
They pay the 5, they only get 2.

"What's a pending coffee" I asked.
"Wait and see".

More customers. Two girls get their coffees, they pay normally.

After awhile, 3 lawyers asked for 7 coffees,
they only drink 3, but paid for the 7.

While we were talking, a poor man enters the shop
With a soft voice he asks, "Do you have any pending coffee?"

This type of charity was born in Napoli (Naples, Italy).
People pay in anticipation for the coffees and even meals
for others who cant.
